Q:How can I access my account?
A:You can access your account with your email and password at www.unitedconservatory.opus1.io/login. If you need to reset your password, please let the front desk know and they can assist you.
Q: How can I reschedule my lesson?
A: If you or your student are unable to attend your scheduled private lesson, students may attend any of our group make-up classes, request a video lesson, or attend their lesson via zoom.
Q: What does the group make-up lesson look like?
A: Group make-up classes are separated by skill level so students in the class are working on the same or similar material. This allows the teacher to provide direction and instruction to multiple students at the same time. For group piano, each student will bring their own book used in lessons and have an individual keyboard to play and headphones to plug into.
Q: When are the group make-up lessons?
A: Our group lessons are hosted on Saturday and Sunday. If you need to sign up please call the front office and sign up or sign up via our website unitedconservatory.opus1.io/w/groupmakeup
Here are the list of of group classes offered:
Intermediate Piano- Saturday at 10:30pm
Beginner Guitar- Saturday at 12pm
Intermediate Guitar- Saturday at 2:15pm
Beginner Drums- Saturday at 1pm
Beginner Voice- Saturday at 2pm
Beginner Violin- Sunday at 12:30pm
Beginner Piano- Sunday at 1pm
Q: How can I cancel my lessons?
A: If you would like to withdraw from lessons, we require a withdrawal form to be completed by the 15th of each month. If it is past the 15th, your withdrawal will be processed for the following month. Ex. If you would like to withdraw in April, form must be received by April 15th. If it is received after April 15th, your lessons will continue through the end of May.
Q: Can I pause my lesson?
A: Unfortunately, UCM does not have the ability to pause lessons. If you would like to stop lessons for a short time, you will need to fill out a withdrawal form before the 15th of the month. When you withdraw, your time slot with your instructor will become available to other students. If you are unable to attend in person-lessons but still wish to continue with lessons, please consider our zoom and video lesson options.
Q: Can I change my lesson day and/or time?
A: Yes, if your current lesson time no longer works for your schedule we can find a different day and time for your lessons. Please fill out this form and a team member will coordinate with you.

Q: Can I change my lesson time just for the summer?
A: While you are welcome to change your schedule per your schedule, we do not recommend it. There is no guarantee that you will have access to your original time slot again. Once a lesson time is open, front office staff will be able to book that time for another student.
Q: Does UCM rent instruments?
A: Yes! We rent violins up to 3/4 size and cellos. Violin rentals are $25 per month with a $50 deposit. Cello rentals are $50 per month with a $150 deposit. Deposits are refundable pending assessment for damage.
